Forklift Operator

 We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts and other heavy equipment to move materials and products efficiently within our facility. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

Duties

• Operate various types of forklifts, including clamp trucks, to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory management.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Assist in materials handling and organization of warehouse space for optimal efficiency.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to maintain workflow and meet production targets.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory counts and material measurements.
• Engage in heavy lifting as required, ensuring safe practices are followed at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
   

•  Forklift certification card from a previous employer or accredited institution required.
• Valid unexpired driver's license. 
• Proven experience operating forklifts or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Familiarity with clamp trucks is a plus.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations.
• Experience in shipping and receiving processes is desirable.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and effectively.
• Basic math skills for accurate inventory management.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
