Our New Albany client is seeking a 1st-shift forklift operator for their extrusion department. This is a temporary assignment, with the potential to convert to full-time based on performance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely (training provided if needed)
- Conduct routine equipment checks and follow safety protocols
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and in compliance with safety standards
Education/Skills:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Able to understand and implement oral and written instructions.
- Proficient in maintaining accurate written records.
Physical Requirements:
- Must have the physical ability to perform assigned duties safely and efficiently.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 100 lbs. with assistance.
Schedule/Pay:
- Alternating shift M-W 6 am-6 pm, M-W 6 am-6 pm; Thursday 6 am-2:30 pm.
