The Senior HVAC Technician will oversee the installation, maintenance and repair of complex technical systems while mentoring junior staff and ensuring operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
· Planning building maintenance and operational programs for building and all Mechanical and Electrical equipment system.
· Oversee daily operation of all facility systems, including HVAC, Chiller, Pumps, VFD, Boiler, Electrical, Generator, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Compressor and Dryer System, Kathabar System and Building Automation Systems (BAS) (Honeywell).
· Perform routine inspections to ensure equipment performance and reliability.
· Troubleshoot and diagnose system issues and take corrective actions promptly.
· Repair and Maintain Mechanical and Electrical System.
· Maintain preventive and predictive maintenance schedules.
· Oversee the building, equipment and maintenance.
· Maintain documentation required for audits and inspections.
· Ensuring all utility systems are inspected and in accordance with regulations.
· Overseeing all building functions.
· Coordinating all maintenance issues and schedules.
· Update logs, maintenance records, checklists, and compliance documents.
· Respond to emails, work orders, and service requests in a timely manner.
· Plan, coordinate, and supervise facility-related projects (repairs, upgrades, installations, renovations).
· Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and follow safety and quality standards.
· Respond to all emergency situations quickly (Fire alarm, equipment failure, etc.)
· Managing external contractors coming onsite to perform work.
· Coordinate with service providers for maintenance, repairs, and testing.
· Monitor contractor performance and ensure work quality meets standards.
· Maintaining a safe work environment for all employees
· Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes, standards, and regulations.
· Conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and implement corrective actions.
· Provide on-call support for facility emergencies.
· Track spare parts, tools, and consumables inventory.
· Familiarity with OSHA and ISO related facility and safety regulations.
· Encourage team/staff and able to mentor and lead.
