Skilled Construction Laborer

Currently hiring for skilled construction laborers for commercial projects in Richmond, VA. You will be responsible for assisting lead tradesman (carpenters, plumbers, electricians) on various project tasks such as site clean up, equipment storage and overall job site clean up. OSHA 10 and experience with lull/fork lift operating is a plus. The ideal candidate has 2+ years experience on commercial construction sites, is dependable and punctual. Pay is $18 - $20 an hour based on skillset and experience.

Skilled Construction Laborer Responsibilities:

• Assist with site setup and cleanup to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
• Support construction activities by moving materials, tools, and equipment
• Perform general maintenance and ensure work areas are clean and organized
• Support skilled trades with tasks such as measuring, digging, and assembling materials
• Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Assist with loading and unloading supplies and equipment
• Help with traffic control and site safety measures when necessary
• Perform calculations to ensure accurate measurements and cuts

Skilled Construction Laborer Qualifications:

• 2+ years commercial construction experience
• Your own reliable transportation
• Your own tools and PPE
• Valid Driver's License
• OSHA 10 a plus
• Lull/forklift operating experience a plus
