The Salesforce Solution Architect serves as the strategic and technical leader for the Salesforce ecosystem at PRO-spectus, ensuring that Salesforce, particularly Health Cloud, is designed, implemented, and optimized to support business growth, patient engagement, and data-driven innovation.

This individual is accountable for developing scalable, secure, and future-ready Salesforce architecture that integrates seamlessly with enterprise systems and supports organizational strategy. The role blends deep technical expertise with business acumen and a collaborative mindset, ensuring the Salesforce roadmap aligns with data governance, security standards, and operational priorities.

The Salesforce Solution Architect will design and support integrations across the broader PRO-spectus technology landscape, which currently includes:

  • Salesforce Products: Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, Salesforce Shield, and Marketing Cloud.
  • Connected Applications: Five9 (telephony), DocuSign (eSignature), Tableau (analytics), DBT and Snowflake (data pipeline and warehousing), and Azure (cloud infrastructure), Klara (HIPAA compliant texting platform).
  • Emerging Capabilities: AI-driven tools supporting automation, analytics, and large language model (LLM) innovation.

The ideal candidate is a respected and trusted technical leader - known for strong collaboration, excellent communication, effective time management, and disciplined documentation practices.


Core Duties/Responsibilities:  

1. Architecture & Solution Design

  • Lead the end-to-end architecture, design, and implementation of scalable, secure Salesforce solutions with emphasis on Health Cloud.
  • Ensure Salesforce architecture and roadmap align with the company’s strategic goals, compliance standards, and operational growth objectives.
  • Develop robust, modular architectures that support interoperability, automation, and data integrity.
  • Collaborate closely with the Data and Security teams to ensure platform designs meet governance, privacy, and cybersecurity requirements.

2. Technical Leadership & Implementation

  • Serve as the hands-on architect overseeing configuration, development, testing, and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
  • Guide administrators and developers to ensure best practices in customization, integration, and performance optimization.
  • Lead the design and implementation of integrations between Salesforce and key business applications in the PRO-Spectus ecosystem.
  • Drive adoption of AI and automation capabilities across Salesforce and connected systems to increase efficiency and insights.

3. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate strategy and requirements into actionable, scalable technical solutions.
  • Build trusted relationships across departments, including Operations, Data, Security, and TechOps.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on Salesforce capabilities, roadmap planning, and solution optimization.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

4. Governance, Quality, and Documentation

  • Champion disciplined documentation of architecture decisions, data flows, integrations, and configuration standards.
  • Ensure governance practices are followed for change management, release cycles, and system access controls.
  • Oversee testing and validation processes to maintain quality, reliability, and compliance across all Salesforce environments.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, Health Cloud advancements, Data Cloud, and emerging AI technologies.
  • Identify and propose opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation to enhance scalability and user experience.
  • Mentor and upskill team members to strengthen organizational Salesforce capabilities and maturity.


Skills & Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of Salesforce security architecture, data governance, and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, PHI/PII).
  • Proven ability to design, build, and integrate Salesforce with multiple enterprise systems and data environments.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing automation and AI-driven workflows (Einstein, Flow Orchestration, or similar).
  • Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills with the ability to earn trust across teams.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

 

Education, Certifications and Experience:

  • 5+ years of Salesforce implementation and architecture experience, including 3+ years with Health Cloud REQUIRED.
  • Healthcare industry experience REQUIRED.
  • Certifications:
    • REQUIRED: Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201), Platform Developer.
    • Preferred: Health Cloud Accredited Professional, Application Architect, Integration Architect Designer, Platform App Builder.
  • Familiarity with Agile and DevOps methodologies (e.g., CI/CD, Git, Copado) preferred.

 

Physical Requirements: 

  • As a remote-forward organization, this position operates in a virtual professional office environment and teleworking from the employee’s home address listed in their employment file.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer

  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times 
  • Flexibility of working hours to support activities across EST to PST zones 
  • Minimal travel possible
