Seasonal Brickyard Operator (Seasonal Position – Expected to End in October/November)

Are you ready to work outdoors and make an impact on our customers’ landscape projects? We are currently hiring a Brickyard Operator for our Landscape Supply Center, with an expected seasonal end date in October. In this role, you will provide essential services in the yard while helping customers with the loading and handling of landscape materials, ensuring a positive and safe experience.

As a Landscape Supply Yard Assistant, you'll work closely with customers and be a key player in ensuring the timely and accurate loading of products into customer vehicles, while maintaining safety and equipment standards.

We are seeking candidates that are able to work Daytime hours- 20-30/hrs a week (SSNL), Evenings (4-8pm) & weekends! 

What You’ll Do:

• Load landscape products safely and accurately into customer vehicles.
• Assist with hand loading materials as needed (excluding stone/boulders).
• Maintain yard and equipment, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and supply of products.
• Use equipment or manual effort to prepare customer orders for pick-up or shipping.
• Monitor and maintain yard cleanliness and organization.
• Communicate with customers to confirm accurate order processing and safe activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure customer satisfaction and safety.
• Help with the placement of inbound inventory and assist with loss prevention.
• Develop strong knowledge of products sold and be a resource for customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

What You’ll Need:

• High school diploma or equivalent. 18+
• Ability to operate small heavy equipment (e.g., skid steers, forklifts) is a plus.
• Availability for shifts Monday through Sunday, including evenings.
• Ability to lift 75 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.
• A consistent commitment to safety, with the ability to identify and avoid unsafe situations.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions including heat, cold, and wet conditions.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for long periods, walking, sitting, reaching, and using hands to handle tools and controls.
• Lifting and moving products weighing 75-100 pounds.
• Work will be conducted outdoors in varied weather conditions.
