$42.49 per hour construction project in Virginia Beach. Skillforce is hiring a Journey-level Pipefitter for a long-term infrastructure project inside an active tunnel in Virginia Beach. What You'll Be Doing

This is mechanical PIPE FITTING ONLY, no welding, no brazing, no systems work. You'll be fitting 12-inch stainless steel pipe in an underground tunnel environment. The work is repetitive and physical, not complex but it demands focus, reliability, and the ability to commit to a full day on site.

This job operates inside a working tunnel. Once your crew departs each morning, you are on site for the full shift. There are no food trucks or nearby restaurants — bring your lunch. Pay & Schedule

• $42.49/hr
• Four 10s — Monday through Thursday, 10-hour days
• Fridays off (standard); occasional Friday OT possible but not guaranteed
• 6 AM daily start; transportation to the tunnel site provided

Qualifications

• Journey-level pipefitting experience required
• Comfort working in underground and enclosed environments
• Chin strap hard hat, Level 3 cut-resistant gloves, safety glasses required (standard PPE)
• Must pass drug screen and background check
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
