Location: St. Louis, MO
Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week)
Pay Rate: $34 – $40 per hour (based on experience)

Overview

Millenium Restoration is seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Carpenter Framer to join our team in St. Louis. This role is critical to ensuring our restoration projects are structurally sound, code-compliant, and built with precision. We are looking for a professional who takes pride in craftsmanship, thrives on solving complex framing challenges, and values working within a team that respects experience and expertise.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute work based on construction drawings and blueprints
  • Frame residential structures with a high level of accuracy and quality
  • Install windows, exterior doors, and complex stair systems
  • Work independently or with a small crew to complete projects efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
  • Communicate effectively with project managers regarding progress and field updates
  • Take ownership of high-priority or complex framing projects over time


Requirements

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 15 years of professional carpentry and framing experience
  • Advanced expertise in residential framing, layout, and cutting
  • Proven experience installing stairs, windows, and exterior doors
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
  • Must reside within 15 miles of St. Louis, MO
  • Reliable transportation and personal hand tools

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with historic restoration or specialized architectural framing
  • Strong problem-solving skills in remodeling or variable site conditions
  • Ability to mentor and guide junior team members
