Position Title: Janitorial Lead                                                  Location:  Various  

 

Reports To: Customer Relations Manager                      Cost Center: 47041/47011         

 

General Purpose:  

Responsible for ensuring that proper Janitorial services are provided to all locations. Performing standard janitorial duties as well as supervising a team of 6 or more janitors with daily cleaning tasks. Handle paperwork required for Rehab Extended Employment Contract.  

  

Essential Functions: 

  • Train's workers in janitorial methods and procedure and proper operation of Equipment 
  • Maintain and place orders for cleaning supplies as needed   
  • Coordination and teamwork with all building personnel 
  • Submitting all weekly employee time sheets to supervisor AND via fax to Rehab Admin 
  • Write at least one monthly case note for each client describing performance and behavior 
  • Assist to conduct Time Studies every six months 
  • Handle emergency and non-emergency incidents and submit written incident reports to supervisor AND via fax to Rehab Admin 
  • Report time off requests to Rehab Admin 
  • Submit monthly report of total trips to and from work per client to be billed to DVRS 
  • Become knowledgeable about CARF requirements and be prepared to participate in CARF audit activities as requested by Director of Rehabilitation. 

 

Qualifications/Basic Job Requirements:  

  • Willingness to learn and teach new skills.  
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills. 
  • Good computer skills using email and MS Word 
  • Ability to lift up to 30lbs.   
  • Organized, capable of managing multiple tasks, and able to work with diverse clients/customers in a fast-paced environment 
  • Ability to manage employees as well as perform janitorial duties when needed. 

 

Scope of Responsibility & Positions Supervised:  

  • Reports to Customer Relations Manager.
