Janitor

Main duties & responsibilities:

• Sweeping and mopping floors.
• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, stocking supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.).
• Emptying trash cans and recycling bins and ensuring proper disposal.
• Clean up of spills and other hazards promptly.
• Monitor stocking of cleaning supplies.
• Maintain cleaning equipment in good working conditions.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cleaning and safety.
• Report any major maintenance or cleanliness issue to management.
• Perform minor maintenance on equipment and fixtures.
• Capacity to work with minimal supervision and familiar with cleaning tools and supplies.

Job Requirements:

• Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time. 
• Ability to bend, kneel, and squat.
• Ability to make repetitive movements.
