Purpose of the job:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>

To assist the maintenance and production teams in the maintenance and repair of food process machinery and facility to ensure an effective and efficient daily operation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/span><\/p>

  • Perform diagnostics, maintenance, repair, setup, start\-up and troubleshooting of dairy processing and packaging equipment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Adjusting, dismantling, installing, optimizing, and repairing dairy processing machinery and equipment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Identifying, developing, assisting, and implementing improvements related to food processing equipment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform routine inspections to ensure effective, efficient, and safe operations<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Perform preventive\/regular maintenance on manufacturing equipment\/ machinery<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Identify potential concerns and problems on equipment before failure<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Communicate and report to team about potential concerns\/ problems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Documenting and reporting work performed and issues found in compliance with Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Responding to calls and effectively prioritizing multiple tasks<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Must have<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Completing projects based off of work orders or otherwise assigned<\/span><\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/span><\/li>
  • Communicate with teammates, supervisors and production staff regularly and concisely<\/span><\/span><\/span>

      Requirements<\/h3>

      Required Skills:<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span>
      <\/span><\/span><\/p>

      • Ideally 2\-3 year experience with industrial maintenance in a factory\/plant environment<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Skilled in using windows computers for tasks like searching the web, using email, writing text documents, using spreadsheets, filling out forms, teams chat, keeping organized file systems.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Fluency in the English language on technical topics<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Knowledge of mechanical\/electrical troubleshooting and repair<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Knowledge of integrated automated systems<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Knowledge of occupational safety practices<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to read, interpret, and understand mechanical\/electrical drawings<\/span><\/span><\/span>
        <\/span><\/span><\/li>
      • Ability to work: alone\/ around others\/ together with others<\/span><\/span><\/span>
