Description

Key Responsibilities:

Facilities Maintenance & Repair

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on building systems (lighting, plumbing, HVAC filters, doors, furniture, etc.).
  • Conduct regular inspections of facility conditions and complete preventive maintenance tasks.
  • Assist with office moves, furniture assembly, and workspace reconfigurations.
  • Respond to maintenance service requests and complete work orders efficiently.
  • Maintain compliance with safety and building standards.

Groundskeeping & Lawn Care

  • Perform regular lawn care duties including mowing, trimming, edging, and watering.
  • Maintain flower beds, shrubs, and outdoor landscaping features.
  • Remove debris, trash, and snow (as seasonally required) from walkways and entrances.
  • Monitor outdoor areas for safety hazards and report or resolve as needed.
  • Operate and maintain landscaping tools and equipment.

Information Technology Support

  • Set up, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Provide first-line technical support to staff and escalate more complex issues as needed.
  • Assist with software installations, updates, and IT inventory tracking.
  • Support user account setup and general IT onboarding for new employees.
Requirements
  • 1–3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, IT support, or groundskeeping.
  • Working knowledge of hand tools, lawn care equipment, and small power tools.
  • Basic understanding of computer hardware, operating  systems, and local networks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, customer  service-focused attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, OSHA 10, small engine repair) are a plus.

  

Work Conditions:

  • On-site role with frequent outdoor and indoor work.
  • Physical demands include lifting (up to 50 lbs.), standing, bending, and operating machinery.
  • Occasional after-hours or weekend work may be required for emergencies or scheduled upgrades.
