We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to support ongoing maintenance, repairs, and construction projects across the Club’s facilities and grounds. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys contributing to a beautiful, well-maintained environment.

Position Summary

The Facilities Technician (Carpentry Focus) is responsible for performing skilled carpentry work including construction, installation, repair, and maintenance of structures and fixtures. This role works closely with the Facilities and Maintenance team to ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to Escondido’s high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform carpentry work including framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, and general repairs
  • Install and repair flooring, drywall, and other building materials
  • Inspect facilities to identify needed repairs or safety concerns
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery safely
  • Assist with special projects, renovations, and event-related builds
  • Collaborate with the Facilities team to prioritize and complete work orders
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Follow all safety protocols and Club policies

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • 3+ years of carpentry experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings
  • Experience with repairs, finish work, and general construction
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks
  • Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or as part of a team
  • Valid driver’s license required
Salary Description
$20 - $25 per hour
