We are seeking an experienced Facilities Maintenance Technician II to support daily maintenance operations and help ensure the safe, reliable operation of facility equipment and systems. This is a hands-on maintenance position for a skilled technician who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of mechanical and facility equipment.
The ideal candidate has strong experience working with pumps, motors, hydraulics, and mechanical systems and is comfortable diagnosing equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting facility operations. Experience in wastewater facilities is highly preferred.
The Maintenance Technician II will work closely with maintenance leadership and facility personnel to ensure equipment and building systems remain operational, compliant, and well-maintained.
As a Facilities Maintenance Technician II, your day will be focused on equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance activities.
You may begin your shift by reviewing assigned work orders, inspecting equipment, and prioritizing maintenance tasks for the day. You'll perform scheduled preventive maintenance, respond to equipment issues, and assist in keeping the facility operating efficiently.
Throughout the day, you'll troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, hydraulic systems, mechanical equipment, HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical components, and other facility systems. When issues arise, you'll use your technical skills to diagnose problems, identify root causes, and complete effective repairs.
You'll work closely with other maintenance technicians and facility personnel, document completed work, maintain accurate records, and help ensure all maintenance activities are completed safely and according to company standards.
Before the end of the shift, you'll update work orders, communicate equipment concerns, and prepare information for the next shift to help maintain smooth facility operations.
