Supervisor: Director
Essential Functions
- Provide direct supervision and technical guidance to Fabricators, Welding and Groundmen performing maintenance and construction on all shop projects.
- Communicate, demonstrate, and enforce safety requirements and best practices.
- Manage supplies, materials, and equipment to complete assigned work efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and scopes of work.
- Communicate directly with Project Managers, Crew Leads, Drafting team, and other project personnel as needed.
- Demonstrate experience with industrial and construction equipment used in fabrication and utility work.
- Promote teamwork, clear communication, and high-quality workmanship.
- Maintain a strong work ethic and commitment to customer service.
- Willingness to work additional hours or travel long distances on short notice when required.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural fabrication, including 2+ years in the utility industry.
- Knowledge of AWS and AISC structural fabrication standards and procedures.
- Proficient in reading fabrication prints and schematics.
- Must be able to pass a D1.1/D1.2 structural weld test (all positions/all processes).
- Ability to manage multiple crews and projects simultaneously.
- CDL Class A driver’s license (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of employment).
- Strong math skills, including ability to calculate ratios, percentages, and interpret graphs.
- Ability to interpret written and oral instructions and handle problem-solving in standardized situations.

- Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk, and hear.
- Frequently required to sit, climb, or balance.
- Must be able to lift/move up to 100 pounds.
- Requires close vision and depth perception.
