Drywall Finisher and Painter –

Key Responsibilities:

- Finish drywall surfaces to achieve a smooth, even, and professional appearance

- Apply primer, paint, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, and surfaces in restoration projects

- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and patching imperfections

- Follow project specifications and safety guidelines to ensure quality and safety standards are met

- Collaborate with team members and project managers to complete projects on time and within scope

- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and ensure a clean work environment

Skills and Qualifications:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in drywall finishing and painting, preferably in the restoration industry

- Proficiency in drywall taping, sanding, and finishing techniques

- Strong knowledge of painting methods, materials, and surface preparation

- Ability to read and interpret project specifications and blueprints

- Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship

- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred

 -Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations, including nights, weekends, and holidays

• High school diploma or GED.
•  2 -5 years of experience as a drywall finisher and painter
• Valid driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of the tools, materials, and methods used in drywall and ceiling finishing.
• Ability to interpret construction blueprints.
• Knowledge of the applicable safety guidelines.
• Basic math skills.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. Position requires
