Director of Facilities - Resort Style Private Club - Base Salary to 95k/year - Charleston, SC
Our client. a private club on one of the islands, is looking to bring on a Director of Facilities. The Director of Facilities role works with a small team and will be hands on as needed. The facility has multiple buildings of residential condos but the property is built along the lines of a commercial property. The ideal candidate will come from a commercial or hospitality type of background, but our client open to all commercial facilities background.
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive facilities strategy and long-term maintenance plans.
Oversee preventive maintenance programs and implement energy-saving initiatives
Collaborate with other departments to support their operational needs and ensure guest satisfaction
Manage capital projects and renovations, coordinating with contractors and vendors
Maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, providing guidance and training to the engineering team
Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to drive innovation and efficiency
Scheduling testing of devices around properties (P.R.V’s, sprinkler inspection)
Qualifications:
Previous experience in engineering management, preferably in the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental practices
