Shift:  1 spot Monday - Friday 12:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Carries out housekeeping and maintenance tasks according to established timelines.
• Follows specific procedures for cleaning and decontaminating the environment.
• Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
• Disposes of hazardous and non-hazardous waste by regulatory standards.
• Stocks handwashing and toiletry supplies in appropriate areas.
• Assists in minor maintenance tasks, equipment moves, and supply management.
• Completes required documentation to meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or General Education Diploma required.
• Minimum 6 months of relevant experience.
• Bilingual ability may be preferred based on participant population.
• DCFS background checks are required for employees in youth programs.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities (K/S/A):

• Comforts working with people of varying socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Excellent communication skills with a strong ability to collaborate.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information diplomatically.
• High degree of collaboration, emotional intelligence, and self-motivation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
• Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated.
