Construction Laborer

Location: York, PA; both shop and traveling positions available
Description:
- We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. This position supports both concrete and carpentry operations. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in general construction labor, with a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to jobsite safety.
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in construction, concrete work, or carpentry preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and complete basic math
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with basic construction tools and equipment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction
Job Duties:
- Assist with form setting, framing, and finishing concrete
- Support carpenters with framing, trim work, and general carpentry tasks
- Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
- Prepare and clean construction sites by removing debris, hazards, and materials
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete under supervision
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment safely
- Follow blueprints, site layouts, and instructions from supervisors or skilled tradespeople
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Comply with OSHA regulations and company safety policies
