Audi Shop Foreman

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shop Foreman to oversee daily operations in our shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing shop employees, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to high-quality standards, maintaining equipment, and enforcing safety protocols. This role requires a hands-on leader with strong mechanical knowledge and excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate shop employees, assigning tasks based on project priorities.
• Ensure all work is completed on time and meets quality and safety standards.
• Monitor and maintain shop tools, equipment, and inventory.
• Train and mentor employees to improve efficiency and skill level.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and technical issues, providing guidance and solutions.
• Communicate with management and other departments to ensure workflow efficiency.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations, ensuring compliance with OSHA and other relevant standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality control checks on completed work.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, maintenance schedules, and employee performance.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance evaluations of shop personnel.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (Technical or vocational training preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in a shop environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong mechanical and technical knowledge relevant to the industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Proficient in using shop tools, equipment, and software for inventory and scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Knowledge of workplace safety regulations and best practices.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Certification in a relevant trade or technical field.
• Preferred experience working with the Audi brand.
