Requirements

 

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Commercial Plumbing Foreman to oversee plumbing projects in commercial and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising plumbing crews, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget, while maintaining the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and excellent problem-solving abilities.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, mentor, and coordinate the daily activities of plumbing crews on commercial projects.
  • Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan work efficiently.
  • Ensure plumbing systems are installed according to codes, regulations, and company standards.
  • Maintain safety standards and enforce OSHA and company safety policies on-site.
  • Schedule and assign work to crew members to meet project deadlines.
  • Inspect work completed by team members to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address project needs.
  • Manage inventory, tools, and equipment on-site to minimize downtime.
  • Provide training and guidance to apprentices and junior plumbers.
  • Communicate effectively with clients regarding project progress and issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Journeyman or Master Plumber license preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, including piping, drainage, water supply, and fire protection.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices.
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Working Conditions:

  • Primarily works on commercial construction sites.
  • Requires standing, climbing, bending, and lifting in various weather conditions.
  • May involve occasional overtime and weekend work depending on project timelines.
