Pipefitter/Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pipefitters/Welders for projects located in Pinellas Park, FL. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $30-33/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:            

• Install and fit piping systems according to blueprints and project specifications

• Ensure proper alignment and fitting of pipes

• Perform welding tasks, including tack welds, finish welds, and fitting alignment

• Perform overhead welding as part of the installation process

• Assist with the fabrication and installation of steel support structures for piping systems
• Read and interpret blueprints or instructions from the site supervisor to guide the installation and welding work
• Work safely and efficiently as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and meet project goals
• Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times to promote safety and efficiency

• Ability to layout, measure, cut, and assemble pipe accurately

• Knowledge of welding techniques, including overhead welding

• Commercial or industrial pipefitting experience is preferred

• Overhead welding experience required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable working at heights

• Must have basic tools and standard PPE
