• Experience with Zero Trust architecture and advanced security models (8+ years)
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies and network observability tools (NetFlow, CloudWatch, Prometheus) (8+ years)
• Experience with cost optimization strategies for cloud networking (8+ years)
• Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking Specialty, Cisco CCNP/CCIE, or Azure Network Engineer Associate
Responsibilities:
• Analyze business objectives, operational procedures, and system constraints to identify network and infrastructure gaps, propose alternative solutions, and perform cost/benefit evaluations for modernization initiatives.
• Lead the design and implementation of secure, scalable hybrid and multi‑cloud network architectures integrating on‑prem data centers with AWS services using VPN, Direct Connect, and Transit Gateway.
• Collaborate with cloud, security, and infrastructure teams to define input/output requirements, validate routing domains, and ensure seamless migration of workloads across hybrid environments.
• Develop detailed technical specifications, architectural documentation, and program requirements outlining user needs, network functions, and steps required to implement or modify network systems.
• Establish and enforce network governance standards, segmentation models, and security policies aligned with enterprise architecture principles and compliance frameworks.
• Evaluate system capabilities, routing constraints, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested network changes and ensure alignment with high availability and disaster recovery objectives.
• Implement and optimize network automation using Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD workflows to reduce configuration drift, improve operational consistency, and support long‑term scalability
