An established mechanical contractor in the Oklahoma City metro is hiring a Mechanical Estimator / Project Manager to help the business pursue more opportunities and deliver projects smoothly from startup through closeout.

Key Responsibilities
What you will do

Lead mechanical estimating work and help the team pursue new project opportunities.

Review plans, develop scopes, and apply mechanical knowledge to prepare accurate estimates.

Support project management across active jobs, including responding to field and superintendent questions, coordinating information, and keeping projects moving.

Manage submittals, job startup activities, and closeout processes.

Work closely with company leadership and project teams to take pressure off a busy, growing operation.

Visit job sites when appropriate for the project and your experience level.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
What we are looking for

Five or more years of experience in the mechanical construction business.

Practical knowledge of commercial mechanical systems and the ability to read plans.

Project-management experience, ideally including superintendent communication, project coordination, submittals, startup, or closeout.

Strong computer skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and spreadsheet-based work.

Ability to work in the Newcastle office every day.

A collaborative, accountable approach and interest in a long-term career with a growing company.
Nice to have

Mechanical estimating experience.

Commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, ductwork, or related mechanical-construction background.

Procore experience.

Experience with Windz, WinDuct, WinPipe, or comparable estimating software.

OSHA 10 certification or a mechanical license.

College education or formal project-management training.

$80,000-$90,000 base salary, depending on experience.

Schedule and location
This is an in-office role in Newcastle, Oklahoma. The usual schedule is Monday through Thursday, 10 hours per day. Fridays are generally off, although occasional Friday work may be needed during busy periods.
