Mechanical Engineer Student

DRS RADA is a global pioneer in active military protection, counter-drone applications, critical infrastructure protection, and border surveillance.

We are seeking a motivated engineering student to join our team as a Mechanical Design Student.

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing technical and mechanical drawings, implementing engineering instructions and engineering change orders (ECOs), and preparing manufacturing drawings for parts, sub-assemblies, and assemblies, including the addition of tolerances and necessary notes.

Your work will also include drafting large assemblies consisting of dozens of components, participating in mechanical design tasks, conducting engineering experiments, and assisting with mechanical assembly in the field. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience while contributing to meaningful engineering projects

• Engineering student (Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or similar) with at least 2–3 years remaining until graduation – mandatory
• Availability for at least 3 full working days per week
• SolidWorks proficiency and practical experience – mandatory
• Experience in electronic enclosure design – advantage
• Familiarity with PLM systems (such as Teamcenter) – advantage
