Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge pressure equipment and play a key role in our design-to-manufacturing process.
Responsibilities
As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:
- Design pressure equipment such as tanks, exchangers, and fermenters.
- Create 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
- Perform preliminary mechanical calculations, including thicknesses, supports, and flanges.
- Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes (e.g., CODAP, ASME, EN 13445).
- Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to address technical requirements.
- Oversee projects from the design phase through to manufacturing completion.
Qualifications
To excel in this role, you should have:
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (mandatory).
- Solid knowledge of pressure equipment and associated standards.
- A strong understanding of stainless steel manufacturing constraints.
- French or German language skills (Mandatory)
Day-to-Day
Your daily activities will include:
- Developing detailed designs and technical drawings for pressure equipment.
- Conducting mechanical calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
- Reviewing and incorporating feedback from manufacturing and quality teams.
- Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
