Mechanical Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to contribute to the development of cutting-edge pressure equipment and play a key role in our design-to-manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will:

• Design pressure equipment such as tanks, exchangers, and fermenters.
• Create 3D models and technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Perform preliminary mechanical calculations, including thicknesses, supports, and flanges.
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes (e.g., CODAP, ASME, EN 13445).
• Collaborate with manufacturing and quality teams to address technical requirements.
• Oversee projects from the design phase through to manufacturing completion.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, you should have:

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar position.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor (mandatory).
• Solid knowledge of pressure equipment and associated standards.
• A strong understanding of stainless steel manufacturing constraints.
• French or German language skills (Mandatory)

Day-to-Day

Your daily activities will include:

• Developing detailed designs and technical drawings for pressure equipment.
• Conducting mechanical calculations to ensure the structural integrity of designs.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to address technical challenges and ensure smooth project execution.
• Reviewing and incorporating feedback from manufacturing and quality teams.
• Monitoring the progress of projects to ensure timely delivery and adherence to specifications.
