DescriptionYou will report to the Material Management Leader and you’ll work out of our St. Louis, MO location on a On-site work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall efficiency of our supply chain by accurately handling materials, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
Must have 2 plus years of carpentry experience to pair with material handler experience. Utilizing raw materials, saws, screw guns, metal banders, and various fasteners, build skids to safely transport items being shipped. Manufacture skids unique to each item being shipped. Measure and weigh each item and determine the best way to orient on the skid to fit in the
ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Properly size skids and dunnage to support the assembly and ensure ease of loading and unloading.
- Take care to label or document each item as shipping BOM or Sales Order requires.
- Accurately report all materials, dimensions, and weights, as well as items present or missing prior to shipment.
- Coordinate with shipping clerk to accurately depict the make-up of the load as well as its contents.
- Be sure to document skids dims and weights.
- Prior to shipment give a last look inspection for quality and/or damage needing attention prior to leaving site.
- Inspect prior to use, and operate equipment necessary to complete work as assigned
- Participate in continuous improvement activities
- Support the Honeywell Operating System
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness
- Comply with all Plant and Safety rules
- Forklift and Scissor lift operation

- 2 plus years of Carpentry experience
- Problem solving/Troubleshooting abilities
- Experience using hand tools
- Mathematical ability, and ability to use tape measure accurately
