Schroeder Truck Repair is growing and looking for a skilled Journeyman Diesel Technician to join our team. If you take pride in quality work, accurate diagnostics, and getting trucks back on the road fast, this is the place for you.

We service medium and heavy-duty trucks, trailers, and equipment. This role is ideal for a self-motivated tech who can work independently and efficiently while maintaining high repair standards.

• $90,000 - $120,000/yr depending on experience

• Diagnose and repair diesel engines (Cummins, CAT, Detroit, Volvo, etc.)
  

• Perform engine repairs, brake work, suspension, steering, cooling systems, and electrical diagnostics
  

• Conduct preventive maintenance inspections
  

• Accurately document work performed
  

• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  

• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers
  

• Journeyman-level experience in diesel or heavy-truck repair
  

• Strong diagnostic ability (electrical & mechanical)
  

• Own tools required
  

• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
  

• Ability to work independently and efficiently
