Janitorial Site Supervisor

Our Janitorial Department located in Albany, NY has a full-time 40-hour Janitorial Site Supervisor position available. The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 2pm-10:30pm* (which includes a 30-minute unpaid meal break).  The rate of pay is $19.50/hour, and this is an hourly non-exempt position.  The Janitorial Site Supervisor is responsible for maintaining building contract requirements and overall cleanliness of facility to include scheduling daily assignments, completing periodic cleaning assignments, correcting deficiencies, training of personnel, payroll and providing direct labor as needed.

• At least 18 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license that meets WWAARC insurability standards.
• High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required. College transcripts may be used in lieu of a High School Diploma or GED. 
• A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in commercial cleaning to include floor stripping, carpet cleaning and ground maintenance. 
• One (1) year supervision experience in commercial cleaning.
• Must be able to ascend/descend stairs & ladders, twist/bend, move items weighing up to 50 pounds, and position self as needed to complete tasks.
• Position requires frequent movement throughout the facility 4-8 hours a day.
