We are looking for a General Foreman – Concrete to help lead self-perform concrete operations, support field crews and foremen, plan upcoming work, and help deliver safe, high-quality production on our projects.
Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily concrete operations for assigned areas, crews, and foremen, ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, productively, and on schedule.
• Review project plans, specifications, shop drawings, lift drawings, RFIs, revisions, and concrete schedules before work begins.
• Coordinate with the Superintendent, Concrete PM, project team, and foremen to plan manpower, materials, equipment, sequencing, and production goals.
• Support short-term planning, including look-ahead schedules, weekly work plans, crew assignments, and upcoming work sequences.
• Lead and support concrete-related work including layout, formwork, embeds, anchor bolts, openings, bracing, concrete placement, finishing, and quality control.
• Track concrete quantities, production, manpower, deliveries, equipment usage, and daily progress; communicate impacts or concerns to the project team.
• Lead daily and weekly safety planning, including Plan of the Day, Pre-Task Risk Assessments, jobsite hazard identification, housekeeping, and safe work practices.
• Attend and participate in foreman meetings, subcontractor meetings, schedule meetings, job walks, and other project coordination meetings.
• Identify and communicate extra work, rework, change-related work, cost code needs, productivity concerns, and schedule impacts.
• Perform and support QA/QC inspections, pre-pour and post-pour checklists, punch list items, observations, and rework documentation.
• Inventory, inspect, and coordinate maintenance for company-owned tools, equipment, formwork, and materials.
• Train, mentor, and support foremen and crew members while helping develop their technical skills, leadership skills, safety awareness, and production knowledge.
• Communicate project status, manpower needs, production progress, safety concerns, quality issues, challenges, and successes to the Superintendent and project team.
Job Qualifications:
• Minimum 5 years of commercial concrete experience required.
• Previous experience leading concrete crews and/or foremen.
• Strong knowledge of concrete formwork, layout, embeds, rebar coordination, concrete placement, finishing, production tracking, and quality control.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, shop drawings, lift drawings, schedules, RFIs, and other project documents.
• Ability to plan daily and weekly work, coordinate manpower, track production, and communicate material or equipment needs.
• Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coaching skills.
• Proficient with PC and tablet software, including Procore, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred.
• Must provide personal safety footwear and basic hand tools.
• Reliable transportation to assigned job sites; out-of-town assignments may require temporary relocation.
• Must pass a background check and drug test (required)
Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to perform physically demanding work in an active construction environment.
• Frequently lifts, carries, pushes, and pulls materials up to 50 lbs.; may occasionally lift or move heavier materials with assistance.
• Regularly stands, walks, bends, kneels, squats, climbs, reaches, and works for extended periods.
• May work indoors, outdoors, at heights, on uneven surfaces, around equipment, and in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to wear required PPE and follow all jobsite safety requirements.

Pay: Pay range for this position is $38.00-42.00 per hour. Pay is determined by knowledge and experience.
