Facilities Technician

This position will provide maintenance services throughout the Providence Holy Cross Service area.
Performs repairs on electrical equipment and will make repairs to air conditioning controls, plumbing, drain snaking, carpentry, painting, plastering, and other assigned duties. This position works under the general supervision of the Facilities Manager. 
Will maintain all Providence Buildings in the San Fernando Valley Service Area.
This position is a career level position.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training 2 Year Trade School Degree or Certificate, Major Study: Vocational Training in mechanical, air conditioning, electrical, welding, automotive etc., combined with 3 years experience with Commercial or Industrial building maintenance.  Or
• 5 years experience in commercial or industrial maintenance and repair experience (such as Hospital, Hotel, High Rise buildings).    
• California Fire and Life Safety Card - National Organization within 30 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: EPA 608
