We repair drywall, paint, and rebuild after damage across Chester County (West Chester / Exton area). What you'll do
- Measure, score, cut, and hang drywall accurately on walls and ceilings
- Work patches, full walls, and rebuild areas with the crew
- Set board square and tight; leave surfaces ready for finish
- Protect the home: cover floors and furniture; keep dust and debris under control
- Leave each area covered, clean, and complete before you move on
- Talk clearly with your lead and the office about materials, timing, and customer notes
- Help helpers learn safe, clean hanging habits on the job
A typical day
You start around 8am, drive a company vehicle to the job site, and work until about 4pm, Monday through Friday. Most days are inside homes: lifting board, ladders or stilts as needed, tight spaces, and careful work around finished rooms. The work is physical. You will lift and carry drywall sheets, climb, kneel, and stay on your feet. We want hangers who take pride in a square sheet and a tidy site.
Must-haves
- Drywall hanging experience required
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to meet the crew / pick up the company vehicle
- Able to lift and carry drywall sheets and work on ladders / stilts as needed
- Comfortable with a physical trade job Mon-Fri
Nice to have
- Experience on repair or restoration jobs in occupied homes
- Comfort teaching helpers basic hanging and site care
