Adobe Marketo Engage Consultant – Integration & Automation Specialist Overview The Adobe Marketo Engage Consultant is responsible for architecting, implementing, and maintaining seamless integrations between Adobe Marketo Engage and enterprise systems such as Salesforce, CRM platforms, data warehouses, and digital analytics tools. This role ensures marketing automation workflows, lead management, and data synchronization operate efficiently, securely, and at scale. As a consultant, you will partner closely with client marketing, IT, and sales teams to assess business requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement best practices across the marketing technology stack. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Integration Architecture & Development • Design, build, and maintain integrations between Adobe Marketo and platforms such as Salesforce, data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift), customer data platforms (CDPs), and business intelligence tools. • Configure and optimize the Marketo–Salesforce sync, including field mapping, campaign member management, and data governance. • Implement REST and SOAP APIs, webhooks, and middleware (e.g., Mulesoft, Workato, Boomi, or Zapier) to automate cross-system workflows. • Collaborate with IT and CRM teams to design secure, scalable, and maintainable data exchange processes. • Advise clients on integration best practices and troubleshooting strategies. Marketing Automation & Campaign Operations • Support clients in architecting and implementing scalable program templates, smart campaigns, and nurture streams within Marketo. • Ensure integrations support accurate campaign tracking, attribution, and lead lifecycle reporting. • Diagnose and resolve sync errors, campaign logic issues, and database anomalies. • Partner with analytics teams to ensure campaign performance and lead data flow to reporting systems.
