Tutor Perini Civil-East is seeking a Concrete Superintendent for our Midtown Bus Terminal project site in Manhattan, NY.

Position Summary:
The Concrete Superintendent is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all on-site concrete construction activities. This role ensures that work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with project specifications and quality standards. The Concrete Superintendent works closely with project management, subcontractors, and field personnel to deliver high-quality concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of concrete construction including foundations, slabs, walls, structural concrete, and finishing
Plan daily and weekly work activities and coordinate labor, equipment, and materials
Supervise field crews and subcontractors to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met
Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations; conduct safety meetings and site inspections
Review project drawings and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
Coordinate with project managers and engineers to resolve field issues and maintain schedule
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates on schedule and productivity
Ensure proper installation of formwork, reinforcement, embeds, and concrete placement
Manage quality control and inspection processes
Maintain site documentation including daily reports, manpower logs, and material tracking
Participate in project meetings and collaborate with other trades to avoid conflicts
Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in concrete construction, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of concrete forming systems, reinforcement, placement, and finishing techniques
Experience managing large-scale commercial or civil concrete projects preferred
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Strong leadership and communication skills
Knowledge of construction safety standards and best practices
Proficient in scheduling and basic construction software tools
High school diploma or equivalent required; construction-related degree preferred
