Teacher responsibilities include providing high quality and coherent instruction based on MA Frameworks in Carpentry, promoting safe work practices meeting all industry standards, establish high expectations and develop partnerships with families and community members.
Candidates should possess strong content knowledge as well as a desire to teach and work with young adults. MA Chapter 74 teaching license in Carpentry preferred. Applicants without a teaching license may be a one-year waiver to complete the requirements for a Preliminary License. All applicants must pass a CORI, Fingerprint background check, have a high school diploma, Construction Supervisors License and at a minimum five years of full time experience as a Carpenter.
