Grizzly Iron is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to grow and manage relationships with luxury custom home builders, architects, designers, and select general contractors.


This role is responsible for originating, qualifying, and closing profitable projects while serving as a trusted partner throughout the pre-construction phase. This is a relationship-driven, consultative role focused on long-term partnerships and well-scoped, high-quality work.


Business Development & Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with:
  • Luxury custom home builders
  • Architects and interior designers
  • Select developers and general contractors
  • Attend networking events, design meetings, and jobsite walk-throughs
  • Serve as a professional, trusted point of contact for clients


Lead Management & Qualification

  • Increase new business and accelerate revenue generation by cold calling, on-site visits, and sales tours, as well as engaging your local community network.
  • Qualify opportunities based on project fit, budget, and timeline
  • Prioritize high-quality projects aligned with Grizzly Iron’s capabilities


Estimating & Proposal Support

  • Gather complete project information, including plans, specs, photos, and site details
  • Collaborate with estimating, CAD, and production teams
  • Assist with scope development, revisions, and value-engineering options
  • Present proposals clearly and confidently


Deal Closing & Pre-Construction Handoff

  • Address client questions related to scope, pricing, and schedule
  • Secure signed contracts and required deposits
  • Ensure clean handoff to production with accurate scope and expectations


CRM & Internal Coordination

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM / JobNimbus
  • Track pipeline activity, proposals, and follow-ups
  • Communicate clearly with internal teams to support smooth project execution

Required / Strongly Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in construction sales, business development, or architectural products
  • Comfortable reviewing plans and elevations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional presence with high-end clients
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and responsive


Nice to Have

  • Experience with custom metal, railings, gates, or architectural finishes
  • Luxury residential construction experience
  • CRM experience
  • Design-assist or consultative sales background
